The Los Angeles Lakers reigned supreme after one of the hardest NBA seasons ever due to the Coronavirus pandemic. As you know, the league (and their families) jetted to Orlando to create a controlled COVID-free environment to finish out the season. And the Lakers pulled through as the NBA champs after defeating the Miami Heat, 106 - 93.
This NBA Title meant more to the franchise than most as the win comes the same year as the tragic death of Lakers legends Kobe Bryant. The NBA icon lost his life in a helicopter accident on January 26th. He died with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others.
After the epic win, the Lakers and their WAGS got dressed up for a victory dinner at Nobu in Malibu. Yep, it was couple’s night! Oh, and masks were definitely on deck.
LeBron James and his gorgeous wife Savannah James, Kyle Kuzma and his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend Winne Harlow, Dwight Howard and his WNBA fiancée Te'a Cooper,Danny Green and his fiancée Blair Bashen, Rajón Rondo and his girlfriend Ashley Bachelor, and more linked up at Nobu for sushi and bubbly. Oddly, no Anthony Davis celebration spotting yet.
A victory dinner is about the biggest form of celebration the Lakers ballers can do right now due to the virus. It’s reported the Lakers and L.A. City and County officials are working together to figure out a safe way to host a victory parade to celebrate the championship, but that likely won’t happen until outside opens back up.
